Meet the Teachers Margie and Darrell Atwood With insightful teaching and counseling abilities, Margie and Darrell pastor and counsel both here and overseas. They also teach in a variety of settings and are on Antioch's Local Leadership Team. Susan Peters Susan and Marty have been married for 17 years and they have four beautiful daughters. Susan is on Antioch's Local Leadership Team and she loves to teach the Word of God and encourage people that God is more than enough to bring them through the difficult challenges of life. Jeff and Dorothy Abshire Jeff and Dorothy have been in the ministry for over 10 years, serving in various capacities, including starting our Boston, MA church plant. Jeff is an Elder and the Administrative Pastor for ACC. Dorothy is a gifted speaker and writer who also ministers through the arts. They have three children. Dr. Michael Jahrmarkt Michael is a local physician, who has also set out to be a life-long student/teacher of the Scriptures. For years Michael has cultivated a love for the Word of God that expresses itself in every part of his life. He and his wife Holly have three sons. Fred Nelson Fred serves as our Young Adult Pastor and teaches in various settings. He has a passion for people to meet God in a real, life-changing way through His Word. Fred and his wife Becca have two sons.

The equipping ministry exists to fan a passion to magnify and enjoy God through his word and to prepare every person for every good work in the kingdom. Our hope is that we become hearers and doers of the Word.

“It is not good for man to be alone.” God said this in his perfect world before sin entered the picture. Or maybe you’ve heard “no man is an island”. We were created for relationships. Yet, getting and maintaining good ones take some work. Join the Abshires as they teach how to cultivate healthy relationships in a variety of areas from friendship to dating to God.

The crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus is the most important event in all of history. Many can retell the story, but still fail to experience the hope and power of the cross in their day-to-day lives. In this real world of sin, suffering, and death, how could we worship a God who was immune to pain? In this six-week class, we will take a deeper look at the reasons why Jesus had to die and what it means for us to live under the cross today.
